An overview of the disability savings plan and the Disability Tax Credit

This seminar is for Financial Advisors and will outline the qualifications for the Registered Disability Savings Plan. Qualifying for the Disability Tax Credit is essentail to qualify for the RDSP. It will demonstrate how parents and relatives can recover up to $7,000 in taxes they never should have paid, which can be invested in their child's RDSP

John Dowson is the founder and executive director of LifeTRUST Planning an organization that provides planning for people with disabilities.
Dan King is a Disability Tax Specialist who has helped families recover $1.7 million dollars in taxes they never should have paid.

During the past several years as our child has been getting older, as we have, we began to consider his situation with regards to the availability of additional funds for costs that would not ordinarily be covered through our association.
